KATHMORR WIND SPRITE has been a very strong broodmare and has produced offspring that excel in the sports of dressage or jumping.

Her sire, Wodan, is a branded Hannoverian stallion who is approved with five different breed associations in Germany. Prior to his export to Canada, he was a successful International Grand Prix jumper. Among his victories is the prestigious win at the indoor Grand Prix in Vienna under Frankie Sloothaak. Wodan has proven to be an excellent breeding stallion by siring several successful sport horses including: Wembley, Walhalla, Walzer, Tuscalusa, WAllentinal, and Wodyna, all having competed at the International Grand Prix level in jumping or dressage.

Her dam, Kathmorr Hexa, is by a Thoroughbred whose bloodlines are found in horses that won medals in eventing at the 2000 Olympics - Anderoo (team bronze), Supreme Rock (team silver) and Custom Made (individual gold). Gulf Stream, Worden and Vandale are also found in jumpers at the international level.



WODAN sold in Germany in 1989 by private sale for 800,000 DM, and is shown at an indoor Grand Prix in Vienna in 1987; Franke Sloothak aboard.

His sire, Tramino is a riding horse with exceptional disposition and trainability with the character, conformation, presence and talent to produce winning rides at FEI Dressage. At his 100-day test, which he successfully completed in Munster-Handorf in 1993, he received 9.5 for character, 9.0 for disposition, 8.5 for ridability, 8.0 for trainability, 8.5 for cross country gallop, 8.0 for cross country jumping, and 9.25 for stadium jumping ability! Tramino is a very modern warmblood stallion with excellent conformation, three good paces, superior rideability and an exemplary temperament. He displays wonderful trainability with the character, conformation, presence and talent to produce winning rides at FEI Dressage, including Provincial and National Championships. He competed in Prix. St. Georges and Intermediare 1 with scores regularly in the high 60%. Now retired from competition, he continues to school all Grand Prix movements with incredible strength and ease in his piaffe and a good passage. He also loves to jump! Tramino is easy to handle, comfortable to ride with wonderful presence and charisma. He is a favourite of the barn with his sweet and willing personality and is regularly hacked by Young Riders. His foals show good size, his uphill construction, easy tractable temperaments and fabulous movement from the very beginning. Tramino returned to the dressage arena in 2004 with 2003 Pan Am Games competitor, Esther Mortimer with great success, earning Hi-Score Prix St. Georges at the Southlands Spring Dressage Show their first show out. They had a successful year. Tramino now fulfills a schoolmaster role with a Young Rider, enabling her to master the FEI movements to Grand Prix. He is the sire of the 2002 Foal Futurity winner in B.C., Southern Tycoon. This charasmatic colt scored '8's across the board from Manfred Lopp, Dr Fredrickson and Jennette Coote - at the early age of 5 weeks. In 2009, he was sire of B.C. 3rd place Foal Futurity, Tolkein. Of Tramino's 10 daughters to be presented for inspection 2005-2009, 7 earned premium scores ranging from 7.17 to 8.33 with consistently high marks for type, neck, saddle position and all ten mares earning at least '8' for swing and elasticity.
