Tia Maria
TIA’s first claim to fame was at four months of age when she won the Alberta Chapter’s young horse championship. The class included horses up to two years of age. Dr. Gerd Lehmann of Germany, together with the other inspectors, awarded TIA a score of 8 in every category, except for Frame, for which she received a 9. On inspection as a three year old, TIA scored a first premium score of 7.5, even with a gait limiting injury to her left hind leg. TIA is a broodmare extraordinaire with great conformation and genetics to produce top quality offspring.
