Wimereaux is a 17 H Canadian Warmblood Mare.  At her inspection she received 8's for her head, neck and Breed & Sex Type. She also received 7's for her Swing & Elasticity and General Impression and Development.

Lucky Boy contributed to Dutch sport horse breeding by contributing a string of top jumpers to the international scene. Sire of Calypso who finished second in the 1980 World Cup final and then followed that up two years later with a victory in the 1982 final in Göteborg.
Lucky Boy sired 16 stallion sons, the most famous of which was Octrooi, who had a successful career in the USA under the name, Best of Luck. Interestingly, he was out of a mare by yet another Thoroughbred sire, Koridon. Also there was Willi Melliger`s Van Gogh, and The Freak with Hugo Simon and later Dirk Hafemeister, and Anne Kursinski`s Medrano, and all three of them were in Los Angeles for the 1984 Olympic Games.

Lucky Boy II, by Lucky Boy XX, was Gail Ross' Grand Prix jumper. Gail Ross was inducted into the Canadian Sports Hall of Fame
Gotthard is truly one of the greats. For seven years he was the leading sire of showjumpers in Germany and his influence continues to the present day. During his time he sired over 34 licensed stallion sons. Goldstern , Goldberg, Gardestern, Goldpilz, and Godehard were all influential.
Gotthard was also influential as a mare sire and he was responsible for 26 States Premium mares.
Gotthard was by Goldfisch II who was the sire of nine licensed stallion sons. Goldfisch II descends from the nineteenth century Thoroughbred sire, Goldschaum. Goldfisch II had a reputation for producing beautiful horses and good movers.
It was not until Gotthard’s daughter, Goldika (out of a Mecklenburg mare with no papers) started her sensational jumping career with Gert Wiltfang that the breeders found him so attractive. Eventually he was to produce over fifty horses to compete internationally and when in 1975, a list of top stallions was published, Gotthard was number one in terms of prize money won. Eventually his competing progeny numbered 398, with earnings of almost two million deutschmarks.
Ferdinand: (Ferrara(Bay)/Herzenskind (Chestnut)); 16.5H; Bay Hanoverian Stallion. Ferdinand and his offspring were famous for jumping and dressage successfully competing in many championships including the Olympic Games. A foundation sire for the famous F/W line. One of the all time great performance sires & possibly the most famous producer of jumping horses in the world in his time. Sire of 12 approved sons, 165 main stdbook mares, 194 competition horses, Olympic & World Class showjumpers and dressage champions. One of Germany's “Eternal Top Ten” sires.

WENDEKREIS, 1967-1991, B 170cm Hanoverian. [310416967]. “Regarded as one of the most influential stallions of the past few decades and is well known as a producer of riding horses with excellent trainability”. Sired 35 approved stallions, incl. 1982 Hanoverian Horse of the Year Werther, several good mares, incl. DLG mare
Werther is a 16.1 hand (166cm) chestnut Hanoverian stallion born in 1973. He was the very first stallion honored by the title "Hanoverian Stallion of the Year" in 1992 and has certainly proven his ability to sire performance and breeding horses treasured for their athleticism, soundness, versatility and personality. Werther is by the great Hanoverian stallion, Wendekreis, from whom he gets strength, bone and jumping ability.  From his Marcio xx damline, Werther inherits his wonderful movement. Werther's progeny are proof of his ability to pass on top performance qualities. As of 1999 his offspring had won over 2 million DM in competitions. 41 of his sons have been licensed. 90 of his mares have achieved the prestigious States Premium Mare title.

Widukind was imported to Canada and approved by the CHSA in the fall of 1993. A serious injury as a yearling limited his career as a riding horse, but it had little impact on his development as one of the premier breeding stallions in Alberta and neighbouring provinces. By the end of his too short breeding career Widukind had left behind a legacy of close to 40 registered Canadian Sport Horse offspring. He reliably sired good-looking horses with strong, well-balanced conformation and outstanding temperaments, talented for all disciplines.
Many of Widukind's offspring placed well in the CHSA futurities over the years and continue to compete successfully in both dressage and jumping. In 2000, his 6 year old son Where's Waldo became AHHS Modified Jumper Reserve Champion. The former CWHBA Auction horse Wilken by Widukind was 2000 Basic IV and 2001 Medium III Champion of BC. Daughter Waydigo, out of Ballerina II, became 2001 Champion Mare in Alberta.
